Jailbreak ipod 4g iOS 6.1.3
Here goes the jailbreak but this time list as below
- iOS 6.1.3
- redsn0w 0.9.15b3
- ipsw ipod iOS 6.0
Detail of the how to jailbreak you can refer to my previous posting, here or newstrunk.com. Everthing pretty much the same accept the 2 things you have concentrate on;
1. on the iOS 6.1.3 you will be using ipsw restore 6.0 not the ipsw restore 6.1.3, if you still insist on using the 6.1.3, you will get into popup error "Failed to decrypt kernel".
2. you might be having issue with Cydia might not install after both Jailbreak & Just Boot on redsn0w. If this happen to you like me what i did were;
2. Download Cydia v1.1.3.deb
3. FTP into your phone using iFunBox.
4. Navigate your way to the folder /private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall (If you get to the Media folder and find that there is no Cydia folder then you just need to manually create one. Same with the AutoInstall folder. THEY ARE CASE SENSITIVE!!)
5. Now drag and drop the cydia_1.1.3_iphoneos-arm.deb file that you downloaded above into that folder
6. Reboot your device and that's it!.
Just be alert on those two red color font, other than that should be no problem if you already done few times with the jailbreaking.
